Community Outreach Services, Inc.'s (COS's) core mission is the eradication of homelessness, hunger and poverty within the surrounding community. The COS Food Pantry is a powerful tool in the fight against hunger. The COS Food Pantry provides nutritious foods and household goods to over 1,200 families each month.

We accept food donations at the COS Food Pantry in Paterson during our regular hours, or by appointment for off-hours donations. Some of the most high-need items include:

• Canned Fish (Tuna, Canned Salmon, Sardines)
• Canned Meats (Vienna Sausage, Canned Chicken)
• Peanut Butter
• Jelly/Jam
• Pancake Mix
• Cereal (Hot & Cold)
• Pasta, Rice
• Beans (Kidney, Pork & Beans, Vegetarian)
• Boxed Macaroni and Cheese
• Baby Formula, Baby Food
• Baby Diapers
• Low Salt Soups & Broths
• Spaghetti Sauce, Tomato Sauce, Canned Tomato Products
• Canned Fruits, Vegetables
• Vinegar
• Evaporated/Condensed Milk
• Powdered Milk
• Sugar-Free Jello/Pudding
• Bottled Juice (no Grapefruit please)
• Juice Boxes
• Catsup, Mayonnaise, Mustard

We also accept monetary donations here which are used to supplement the food donations the COS Food Pantry receives.
